N. Nigmatulin: Kazakhstan’s model of interethnic harmony can serve as an example for other countries


Nur-Sultan, September 3, House of Mazhilis. Today, Chairman of the Mazhilis Nurlan Nigmatulin held a meeting with OSCE High Commissioner on National Minorities Lamberto Zannier.

During the conversation, Nurlan Nigmatulin stressed that interethnic harmony and unity of Kazakhstan’s society are the key factor of stability and prosperity of our country.

Speaker of the Mazhilis focused on the unique institute created on the initiative of the Leader of the Nation Nursultan Nazarbayev – the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan, the deputies of which are represented in the Mazhilis.

According to N. Nigmatulin, Kazakhstan’s model of interethnic harmony can serve as an example for other states and our country can share its experience in building a tolerant society.

As L. Zannier stressed in his turn, Kazakhstan is a very interesting country, because the model of interethnic relations that has been developed in our country is very promising.
