Astana, May 25, Mazhilis House. Vice Speaker of the Mazhilis Daniya Espayeva met with members of the Expert Council on Health at the CIS Interparliamentary Assembly.

The executive secretary of the Expert Council on Health under the CIS IPA Evgenia Vladimirova and its members Sergey Savashinsky and Beksultan Tutkushev arrived at the meeting in the Mazhilis.

During the meeting, the interlocutors discussed bilateral cooperation and legislative activity in the healthcare sector.

“We know that the Perspective Plan for Model Lawmaking in the CIS for 2023-2025 includes the development of a draft model law “On Drug Provision in the CIS Member States”. This is a very important question. Our deputies will certainly take part in its discussion,” Dania Espayeva said.

The law will reflect the basic principles of drug provision, a unified system for registering drugs, a drug procurement mechanism, and a system for informing doctors about the creation of new drugs.

Mazhilismen Askhat Aimagambetov, Galymzhan Yeleuov and Guldara Nurumova also took part in the meeting.
