Astana, September 8, House of the Mazhilis. A meeting of the Mazhilis Bureau was held under the chairmanship of the Speaker of the Chamber Erlan Koshanov, at which the draft agenda for the upcoming plenary meeting was formed.

Legislative amendments to the Code “On Subsoil and Subsoil Use” on issues of improving the sphere of subsoil use are being introduced for discussion by deputies in the first reading.

The corresponding bill was developed by deputies of Parliament. It is aimed at optimizing the procedures for concluding subsoil use contracts and conducting state examination of basic project documents, as well as reducing financial and administrative costs for subsoil users.

At the plenary session it is also proposed to consider bills on the issues of the export credit agency and promotion of the export of non-commodity goods (works, services) - in the first reading, as well as the Agreement on the establishment of the Eurasian Reinsurance Company.

Deputies will have to determine the timing of preparing conclusions on new bills regarding the ratification of agreements on cooperation in the field of sanitary protection of the territories of the CIS member states, as well as on the exchange of information with the Government of China regarding citizens of the two countries.

The draft agenda also includes the issue of the Plan of main activities for the implementation of the powers of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the VIII convocation for the second session.
