Astana, November 3, House of the Mazhilis. Chaired by Speaker of the House Erlan Koshanov, a meeting of the Mazhilis Bureau was held, at which a draft agenda for the upcoming plenary meeting was formed.
Legislative amendments on business issues are introduced for discussion by deputies in the first reading. The proposed changes are aimed at improving the conditions for doing business by streamlining the system of state control and supervision, increasing the transparency of their implementation, as well as ensuring a balance of interests of business entities and the state.
In the first reading, deputies will also discuss legislative amendments on issues of public associations. The corresponding bill was developed in order to further develop civil society and simplify the procedure for creating new public associations.
In the second reading, deputies are invited to consider the bill on issues of the export credit agency and promotion of the export of non-commodity goods (works, services). The document was developed in pursuance of the instructions of the Head of State regarding the formation of a regulatory regime for a single operator of financial support for exports of JSC Export insurance company «KazakhExport».
The draft agenda of the plenary session also included a bill on ratification of the Protocol with amendments to the Kazakh-Russian Agreement on trade and economic cooperation in the field of supplies of oil and petroleum products.
Deputies will also have to determine the deadlines for preparing opinions on new bills received by the Mazhilis. These are amendments on issues of education and mentoring, communications, digitalization and improving the investment climate in the field of information technology, as well as draft laws on the ratification of a number of international agreements.
