Astana, April 12, the House of the Mazhilis. The Bureau of the Mazhilis, chaired by Yerlan Koshanov, has determined the draft agenda of the upcoming plenary session of the Chamber.

In the first reading, deputies are invited to consider amendments to the Code of Administrative Offences. The draft law provides for the introduction of administrative penalties in the form of community service, the definition of the mechanism of its execution and the composition of the application of this type of penalty, as well as regulates the use of the drive in proceedings on administrative offenses.

At the plenary session, the mazhilismen will also consider amendments to the Law on State Awards regarding the assignment of the names of Sagadat Nurmagambetov, Bauyrzhan Momyshuly and Rakhymzhan Koshkarbayev to various degrees of the Order of "Aybin". Legislative innovations were developed by deputies of the Parliament in pursuance of the instruction of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, given at the third meeting of the National Kurultai "Adal adam – Adal enbek – Adal tabys".

In the second reading, government bills "On Mass Media" and "On Science and Technology Policy" with accompanying amendments, as well as amendments to the Tax Code on science issues, are being submitted for discussion by deputies.

New draft laws with amendments to the Code of Administrative Offences on Mass Media Issues and on ratification of the Agreement with the Russian Federation to ensure parallel operation of the unified energy systems of the two states will be adopted.
