Biography
SUNGKAR Islam Erkinuly
Member of the Committee on Agrarian Issues of Mazhilis of Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan
Born on July 12, 1995 in Frumentievka village, Kachir district, Pavlodar region, Kazakh.
He graduated from L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University with a Bachelor’s degree in Philology (2017), studied at St. Petersburg State University under the academic Mobility program (2018), received a Master's degree in Humanities from L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University (2019).
He began his career as an interviewer at the Sana Public Foundation (2014-2015), was the responsible organizer of the Astana city branch of the Public Union “People's Party of Kazakhstan” (2016-2019), was a public assistant to a deputy of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan (2018-2021).
In 2019, he worked as a teacher at the Department of Kazakh and Russian Philology of the A.K.Kusainov Eurasian Humanitarian Institute in Astana city.
From December 2019 to January 2021, he was an adviser on youth policy issues to the Secretary of the Central Committee of the Public Union “People's Party of Kazakhstan”.
In 2021, he worked as a leading expert in the media support and publishing department at the Republican Scientific and Practical Center “Daryn” of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
In 2022, he worked as a teacher of Russian language and literature at the State-owned Public Enterprise “Lyceum School No. 59” of the Akimat of Astana city.
From June 2022 to March 2023, he was a Deputy Head of the organizational department of the central office of the Public Union “People's Party of Kazakhstan”.
Since March 2023 – Deputy of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, member of the Committee on Agrarian Issues.
He is a member of the Political Council (since 2022) and a member of the Bureau of the People's Party of Kazakhstan (since 2023).
He is a member of the Club of Young Experts at the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan (since 2023).
He is the head of the Youth wing of the Public Union “People's Party of Kazakhstan” (since October 2023).
He was awarded a Letter of Appreciation from the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan K.K. Tokayev (2022).
