Biography
KOZHASBAYEV Ruslan Sadvakasovich
Member of the Committee for Economic Reform and Regional Development of Mazhilis of Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan
He was born in 1976 in Sarkand, Almaty region (now Zhetysu region). Graduated from Almaty State University named after Abai with a degree in Law.
1996-1999 – worked in the field of entrepreneurship;
1999-2004 – employee of the tax and financial police of Almaty and East Kazakhstan region;
2004-2005 – Director of the Departments of Capital Construction, Investment Projects of «Ak-Orda» Company» LLP;
2005-2008 – Director of the Investment Projects Department of «Asia Prom Sales» LLP;
2008-2010 – Vice President, Independent Director of «Parasat Holding» JSC;
2010-2012 – Chairman of the Supervisory Board of «Energo-Engineering» LLP;
2012-2018 – worked in the field of entrepreneurship;
2018-2020 – Head of the State Institution «Department of Entrepreneurship and Industrial and Innovative Development of Almaty region»;
2020-2022 – Chairman of the Management Board of JSC «Regional Development Institute «Social and Entrepreneurial Corporation «Zhetisu»;
2021-2022 – Deputy of the Maslikhat of the Almaty region of the VII convocation;
2022-2023 – Deputy of the Maslikhat of the Zhetisu region of the VII convocation;
In March 2023, he was elected a deputy of the Majilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan of the VIII convocation in a single-mandate territorial electoral district from the Zhetysu region.
He was awarded the order «Kurmet», Jubilee medals «25 years of the Constitution of Kazakhstan», «25 years of maslikhats of Kazakhstan», postal certificates.
Speaks Kazakh, Russian, English.
He is married and has six children.
